Topic: Fireface UCX II Phones vs ADI-2 series

Hi, I've recently bought a Fireface UCX II and I was wondering how does the phones output compare to that of the ADI-2 series, am I missing much in terms of quality? also the how does the DAC compare?

I've the UCX II and the ADI-2 DAC FS, and with my 250 Ohm Beyerdynamics headphones there is no difference in sound quality and both have powerful headphone amps in them (enough to damage my hearing). If you have difficult to drive headphones you should take that into consideration. Or if they're very sensitive, like some IEM, you could hear some noise from the UCX II.

The ADI-2 DAC have some DSP like dynamic loudness that the UCX II does not have, and for me dynamic loudness is a must for casual listening or just enjoyment.
