Topic: ADI-2 DAC with Trinnov Nova?

My current device chain is:

PC > USB > ADI-2 DAC > XLR > Studio Monitors

How would the Trinnov Nova fit into this? Is it as simple as connecting the ADI-2 DAC to the Analog In of the Nova, and my studio monitors to the Analog Out of the Nova?

User manual for the Nova here:

Clarification is needed, as some of Trinnov's blog posts make it sound as if they must be connected digitally:

Re: ADI-2 DAC with Trinnov Nova?

For 2 channels there are analog ins.
So, yes, Nova can be inserted between ADI-2 and the monitors.

The question is:
If you want to take 3.5 K bucks in your hands, wouldn’t it be better to trash (read: sell) your existing flawed monitors and spent in high quality near-fields?

Near-field = room correction isn’t needed.
Genelec 8351 give you all you need and have automatic room-correction built in (in case still needed).

And BTW, ADI-2’s built in EQ works great for room correction.

All you need is an iDevice and FFT app from Andrew Smith to measure the room response.
FFT is calibrated and works with good precision with the iDevice’s internal mic.
