Topic: Belated new user question

Hello!

Believe it or not, I picked up a ADI-2 Pro in February of 2018 and am only now getting down to using it in earnest. Long story, lots of changes in plans, etc.

I did briefly test it before neglecting it and -- it sounds great.

Of course, I purchased it right before the FS full-scale model was released. But it will do fine.

Here's my possibly-idiotic question:

I would like to use software to monitor the device and have installed the ADI-2 Remote and the DigiCheck NG software.

Both installed without incident and both recognize my ADI-2 Pro.

However, when I play an audio file using an editor (in this case, Steinberg Wavelab), the signal passes through the ADI-2 Pro (and is passed to the phones output) and the display on the ADI-2 Pro shows the output.

However, I can't seem to get the software to display this information. That is, the ADI-2 Remote and DigiCheck NG software show that the ADI-2 Pro is the selected, active device but do not display the signal passing through the interface.

I've been going over the manual but don't understand what parameters I need to set. I've been experimenting but just figured it would be smarter to ask people who would know.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: Belated new user question

In Digicheck Audio device setup, enable "add playback channels"

and select playback channels 1/2 in the Instrument input selection (right-click on instrument)

* The selection can not be done generally. We hope to get this feature one day, until then ... wink

Under Windows 11 it looks this way:

Re: Belated new user question

Plus the ADI-2 remote does not include level meters.
