Hi folks!

I'm having a strange issue with my RPM interface.
Routing the microphone input signal directly to an output (via totalmix) only works
with 44.1 and 48k SR !! The line inputs get through, anyway!

Is this a known issue?

Hardware is an good ol' G3 Powerbook with Cardbus, running os x 10.4.11.

ok, ich versuchs nochmal klar und deutlich wink

I am routing the microphone input to output 1, via totalmix, for direct monitoring.
This works, as expected, but only when running the interface with samplerates 32k, 44.1k or 48k !!

After switching to a samplerate above 48k (via OS X's "Audio MIDI Setup), I don't hear the input signal any longer (on the outputs), there's also nothing on the output's signal meters in totalmix.

The Microphone Input is still working! But i just can't get it routed directly to the outputs!
This problem only occurs with the Mic In! The Line Inputs still get routed...

44.1kHz...everything's fine.

Looks like a bug, as the Mic input is a bit special on this unit. But I fear that we can not supply a fix for it.

i m having the same issue ... first time i hear RME cant fix a bug wink               

is there still any solution ?

Sorry, no. This is a design limitation that can not be fixed. Note that recording and software monitoring still works as expected. This mic input with TM is designed for usage as DJ, and then 96 kHz makes zero sense.
