Topic: adi 2 monitoring with headphones / analogue outs

as straight forward as the adi2 may be, it's making me lose sleep...got the main outs of my mackie 8bus analogue mixer connected to the adi2 xlr inputs, adi 2 spdif out to my delta 1010 spdif  in, getting great digital signal .
now i should be having audio in my adi2 headphones ? and in my adi2 analogue outs, right?  but i don't...

please help, many thanx.

I don't see why you should have a signal at the DA-converter's output when there is no input signal (at the ADI-2 digital input).
