Topic: Beeps on Micstasy channels

I encountered a strange phenomenon: while connecting a set of Neumann M 150 to my Micstasy I had a very weak "beep" on one of the channels every few seconds. I changed and tried any other setup but it seems that it happens only when connecting the Neumann tubes to the Micstasy, not with other mics on the Micstasy and not with the M 150 connected to any other preamp.

I had sent the M 150 to the Neumann Technical Support, they have been checked and said OK, but the problem persists.

Has anybody had or heard about a similar experience?

I assume the mic has its own power supply. Have you switched off the Phantom power of the Micstasy? Does this make any difference?

Yes the M 150 has its own power supply and yes I had phantom power switched off.
