Topic: Digicheck on USB screen with displaylink driver (snow leopard)

Hi,

I'm considering to buy a 800x480 display link compatible USB monitor dedicated to the "vector audioscope" window on my macpro system.

I've got severals questions :
- any user on this forum using this setup?
- with the latest beta I'm not able to scale the vector audioscope window anymore : is it normal?
- Is there any 2D acceleration or Open GL involved in the Digichek code? (display link doesn't seems to works great with 2D or open GL acceleration)

Thanks for your help

At this time DC does not use Open GL. And the Vector Scope has never been scalable other than to the 3 available sizes.

Thanks MC for your reply.

The Vector Scope isn't scalable, but the Suround Audioscope is? that was my confusion.

Anyway, I've just ordered a 800x480 usb Displaylink compatible screen and I will give some feedback as soon as possible!

Re: Digicheck on USB screen with displaylink driver (snow leopard)

I've just received my USB screen, and everything is working great !!!!:-)

This is my config :
MacPro 8cores 10Go Ram
OS X.6.2
2x 20" screens (internal video card) + 800x480 USB display (samsung U70 with Displaylink lastest beta for snow leopard)
Logic Pro 9.0.2 / RME Hdspe with Multiface II

From now, I've got a dedicated display for Digichek !!!  It's like a 3000 ? RTW for 70? I'm really happy :-)

Thanks RME for this great tool. I'm only missing the ITU metering?

USB screen is really a great addition for Digichek

It's only a 7 inch screen : 10? per inch, it's really comparable to a Digital photo-frame's price.

I'm using a 7" Samsung U70, but Nanovision Mini Monitor (Mimo) seems to works too.
For a good price, just check the web or ebay
