Topic: FF800 Win7-64bit audio dropouts and IEEEa stopped working

Hey just updated to firmware 2.77 and driver 2.9991.  Now my FF800 doesn't connect with a firewire400 cable and card.  I can get it to work with firewire800 but the driver freezes intermittently and software apps crash.  I've also tried switching to legacy drivers as previously suggested.  I've also tried switching back to previous drivers and firmware.  I've also disabled all windows 7 OS's visual effects.  It was working fine using IEEEa and the previous firmware.

Any advice on where to start?

It started working again today.  The only thing that changed on my system was installing Asio4all and a new windows defender update..... strange.
