Topic: Problem with TotalMix Preset change

After updating to the latest aes-32 flash and driver for winXP i got a big problem!
while playing a song in cubase 5 , im opening the rme mixer and i have some random glitches.
if i dare to change the preset (snapshot) of the rme mixer then the computer freezes and sometimes reboots.

i used to change presets in the mixer before without any problems,  i use presets all the time and for me its a must !!!

I hope that there is a simple solution.



:my pc setup:
2 aes 32 (not express) synced to Apogee bigben via WC. (96khz)
4gigz ram.
uad 2 quad
2 hd 10,000rpm raid 0 (boot)
6 hd 10,000rpm raid 0 (audio)
dual xeon 2.6
supermicro x7dae motherboard
win xp32 pro sp3

Which driver version did you update from? Did you uninstall the old driver and applications first?

i installed hdsp_wdm_3082 and the firmware shows 234

i uninstalled the driver from the Device Manager, then restart... then i direct the install hardware thing to the new driver.
I didnt use the standard add/remove menu, may be that's the problem.

i always do it in the way i mentioned and it works,,,
ill try to uninstall it from the add/remove section as well.

ok , so i did a proper uninstall and all, the problem is still there.
so i installed an older driver with the older mixer skin and it works perfect again.
(i can't remember which version coz im not in the studio right now)
I guess that the newer driver dosnt work for me.
