Could someone explain to me if im doing this correct. ive got a hammerfall multiface for around 2 years and feel i might not be reaping the full benefits via my current config of signal flow.

from my multiface ch 1+2 go out into one of the channels on my analogue mixing desk, this is so i can hear whats coming out the pc.

now when im using a daw i will send say a channel 3+4 on the multiface out to another channel on my mixing desk.

from my mixing desk i then send this channel to another submix channel on my desk were then it goes back into input 1+2 of the multiface to then record into the daw.

is this right or should i be using a patch bay?

any help id be very grateful
