Topic: Is this normal?

I am playing an ac3 file the volume sliders move to a different level than when I am playing a wma file. Is this normal?
For example when I amplaying ac3 file all the analogue sliders are at -30. Then I am playing wma file and analogue  5,6,7,8 go to -10. But 1,2,3,4 remain the same.

What soft- and hardware are you referring to? And which "analogue sliders"?
