Topic: Totalmix questions
On the risk of outing myself as a Totalmix rookie, can anybody explain how to:
- set the ouput level of a Totalmix channel to +6dB
- reverse the phase of a signal in Totalmix
Thanks in advance

Hi, just pull the fader all the way up...
Phase reversal is in the matrix (see manual).

Hi Daniel,
thanks for the prompt reply.
Regarding +6dB: To my knowledge in Totalmix I see three rows of faders:
1st: hardware inputs
2nd: playback streams
3rd: hardware outputs
Now I know that I can add positive gain to the hardware inputs and the playback streams, but the faders of my hardware outputs end with 0dB topmost.
In msg #4 of http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4424 I understood "output level" to be the level of the hardware output:
ADAT output 1/2 (naming: AoA) submix consists of: [-6db]PbA
AoA output level is set at [+6db].
Did I get it wrong?
Regarding phase reversal in the matrix: I just downloaded the HDSP 9632 manual and I can't find anything about it. Is this a FF feature?
Cheers
Axel
The 9632 does not have +6 dB output and phase reversal (all newer products have). At that time we were glad to squeeze the internal loopback feature into the hardware code...
Ah, I see. The 9632 is not that important to me/us. So I will give an AES board a try.
Thanks
Axel
