Topic: Problem on HDSPe MADI: Hammerfall DSP Setting, input status

Hi everybody,

I've buy a RME HDSPe MADI, and I have a problem with the input status in the hammerfall DSP setting.

I work under Windows XP, et I have 2 converter AD/DA Sonic Core Ultra 16. I have connected RME and Sonic Core, when I change values on the converter (Sample rate, master, word clock...) the HDSPe react (SyncCheck, AutoSyncRef, System Clock values changes). But the input status is always on "No Lock". I've try to send an audio signal from a mic (mic-preamp-converter-rme) and an other signal from my cubase SX (rme-converter-mixboard), but input status is always on "No Lock", and the red error led on the MADI  is switched on...

I've installed all drivers and I've try to listen music with Windows media players and the analog output of the card, and it's working...

So what's happened?

Help me please.

Thanks.

As far as I know these are ADAT converters, not MADI...

And I need only MADI converter for HDSPe MADI? I can't associate ADAT converter and MADI card?

This one converts MADI to ADAT and vice versa:

Biut if you don't need MADI then it seems you just bought the wrong card. This one has ADAT directly:
