Topic: fireface 800 "access violation at address"

Hello,

This is what i get when i turn on my Fireface 800,
(access violation at address 00423892in moduleRTHDCPL.EXE, Read of adress 0036C2F4)
What can i do about it?
And the fireface is  getting really hot but i guess this is normal :-)

This software is part of the Realtek driver for your onboard sound card. Either update this driver, or stop the RTHDCPL.EXE program from running at startup (it's not necessary, just an extra control panel item).

But is it possible to use more than 1 audiocard in 1 xp computer

Yes, certainly. But in some situations, this Realtek application misbehaves. You can disable it and still use the onboard sound.
