Hi im now looking into evga SR2-classified with dual xeon 5680. any reason that anyone know that this would not work. Its new kinda of stepping out on limb. Any thoughts.
   The first guestion is will dual xeon 5680 with 24 gigs of ram be ok i be putting 12gigs for each cpu the I think the next question any thought about the sr2-classified vs some other dual cpu board like supermicro.
    Im using the HSPe madi 128ch 24bit/96k and the M-32ad and the M-32DA i have not got my computer system yet i have the converters and card. So im now look to build a new system. If i need to go with a smaller system I was think the gigabite ua7 and 980x with 12gigs. this system is only being used for audio recording and synth plugins with cubase 5. More for writeing and recording but with large track counts and sometimes large in studio recordings with 24 inputs at a time.  Just looking for thoughts to help make a decision how to get a good solid system up and running
