Topic: RME HDSP 9652 Driver Problem

Hi,

I am using Cubase 5 64 bit with Win 7 Pro 64 bit. I am facing a problem. It seems that Cubase 5 is not utilizing RAM though it is 64 bit. It only works as 32bit. My config

Intel Core 2 Quad 8400
Asus P5QL Pro motherboard
Kingston 6Gb RAM
320 GB System HDD
1 TB Data HDD
RME HDSP 9652
Win 7 Professional (64 bit)
Cubase 5 (native 64 bit) - Updated the Cubase patch (5.1.1.210) for 32/64 bit

From the task manager, it shows the max. amount of RAM is used only 1.45 Gb though it is 6 Gb. I have audio data about 3.5 Gb, but system works as in 32bit. I have uploaded my images of task manager so you can get the idea.

From the above images, it seems that

- Cubase is running in 64 bit
- RME is using 32bit driver instead of 64 bit. (which I have downloaded from RME website driver for windows 7 32/64 bit. Also firmware upgraded. I followed the installation instruction on the website, but it is not taking 64bit driver.)
- The eLicenser (SYNOPOS) is also using 32bit driver instead of 64bit.
- VST Hostbridge is also in 32bit mode.

I think these are the problems which is not giving me the actual performance of 64 bit version.

Please guide me in this case to utilize my pc full-fledge...

Thanks

This is not a driver problem. Please post this to the Cubase forum.
