Topic: HDSP 9652 PCI and HDSP Multiface sync

Hi,

I have had a HDSP 9652 PCI card installed in my PC on Windows XP using Cubase 5 for a while, this is connected to two Behringer ADA8000's and a Fostex VC-8 and synced by wordclock and getting good results etc.  I have just bought a second hand HDSP Multiface version 1 from ebay, I am a bit confused if I need to sync both cards up together using wordclock. 

Tonight I connected the Multiface with no wordclock between the 9652 and all worked except that the latency although said 1.5ms was actually a lot more about 1 sec, when I clicked on the control panel and selected 1.5ms it went back to normal, anyone no if this is a bug, or do I need to sync both cards up using wordclock?

Yes, you have to sync the new piece with the rest of your system if you intend to use them together.
