Topic: Babyface/UC and usb pci-cards

Hi!
I'm interested in buying a Babyface and I understand it shares the drivers with Fireface UC.

I have an old desktop P4 3Ghz that uses IHC4 and I can't expect it to work with Babyface.

However: Could I buy a new usb pci-card with newer drivers? Has anyone tested this before?

I see no reason why it shouldnt work in principle, but you really can only test this yourself...
