Topic: Raydat-slight gain boost on ins?

Hi,

Am sending a test tone from source (Pro Tools HD 192 Adat out) to Raydat In. The signal is about 2 db louder when at the Raydat return (Logic).
Nothing is boosted at either the source or the HDSP Mixer or in Logic, but tone is louder when it arrives at destination.
Any idea why this could be?

Could the Stereo Pan Laws in Logic have any effect here, perhaps?  Just a shot in the dark...

Where exactly (which meter) are you seeing the discrepancy?

There is certainly no "gain" at the digital inputs... This may be a metering issue. What level displays exactly are you comparing, how are the meters set up? What is the exact signal path, what is the "return" and the "destination"?
