Is it possible to use the HDSPe RayDAT or HDSPe AIO with the Multiface MKII through the adat?

The MF can not be used as standalone ADAT converter, if that is what you mean...

ok

but can you then connect 2 multifaces to the HDSPe PCI? I have heard there could be some issues if you turn off the power supply on the slave multiface

Only one card can be connected. The "Disconnect Mode" is explained in the manual. The configuration is only retained as long as the unit has power.
