Hello!

My Digi 96/PST works quite ok for playing music with Foobar2000 (with ASIO) part from the fact that when there is a sound in a webpage requiring Quicktime plugin DIGI 96/PST starts making VERY loud white (?) noise. It also happens when opening Quicktime settings in control panel and also using Picasa (!).

EDIT: And other times; for example opening DirectX "Dxdiag"

The strange thing is that I have Digi 96/PST only for DAW and "high quality" music listening in Foobar - for sounds in webpages, WMP etc I use built in AC97. But somehow there is an conflict with DIGI 96/PST anyway. (It happens also when using DAW)

The cure is to restart Foobar or press any setting in RME Digi settings.

Any solution? It is potentially ear damaging....
