Topic: MacBookPro I5 : FFUC or FF400 ?

Hello
Im sorry if the question has been already asked but i have difficulties using the search fonction.

I want to buy a fireface but im confused choosing the good one...

What is the best choice : FF UC or FF 400 for an I5 macbookpro ? Why ?

Both are good choices. The Fireface UC has the new TotalMix GUI and could perform better. The Fireface 400 is bus-powered.

im runnign an i7 15' mbp with the ff uc and its working fine. amazingly low latency and i swear the uc preamps sounds better than the older ones.. but maybe im just imagining it!
