Topic: 2 HDSPe on the same system

Hello to everyone
I wish to know is someone have experienced 2 HDSPe AES boards on the same system, in which way  totalmix manages them and how can be used simultaneously  by an host like Samplitude.
Thanks in advance, any informations will be very appreciated.

Re: 2 HDSPe on the same system

You can run 2 (up to 3) HDSPe AES boards simultaneously (or any combinaison of HDSP(e) boards sharing the same device driver - AES, Digiface, Multiface,...) on the same system.
All channels will be available at once to your favorite DAW software.
The boards must be synced to the same common Word Clock; you'll have 2 separate TotalMix mixers (one for each installed board) however using TotalMix you cannot interchange data between physical boards ie: route one (or more) channel(s) from one board across the other one.

Thanks for your reply

Re: 2 HDSPe on the same system

do all HDSPe cards share the same device driver? (RayDAT, MADI, AES, AIO, HDSPe card, etc)
