Topic: After sleep no audio

I'm running Multiface I on a Mac Pro 10.4.11.    I've seldom had problems until recently.   Occasionally the red light would start flashing on the Multiface and I could get no audio.  I shut the computer down, pulled the power cord on the unit, restarted, and all was well.     Now, every time I put the computer to sleep, the red light starts flashing, so I'm constantly restarting.   I did the firmware update today and that didn't help.   I'm using the latest driver 2.67.   Any suggestions?   Thanks.

Flashing means partial load, happens often with insufficient power supply. Can you try a different one for the MF?

Re: After sleep no audio

Thanks for the input about the power supply.   What I've done is totally unplug the power supply so that the unit is being powered by the computer.   Everything seems to be working okay.   I don't have access to another power supply at the moment.   Is there a down side to not using an external power supply?

Re: After sleep no audio

There is no disadvantage... MF works fine with power supply from the card.
