Topic: RME Hammerfall DSP Multiface problem HELP :)

Hello all this is my first post so bear with me smile
Here is my problem,
The card is working fine and always has , just that i have never gotten two audio programs to give audio at the same time.
ex: if my cubase is opened i cannot get sound from soundforge at the same time or with media player opened also at the same time etc....

Is it an option that i have to tick or is it that this card is not compatible with multiple audio prog open?

My buddy has an m-audio card and he has cubase,acid,soundforge,giga and can also play media player at the same time no problem ! im jealous !

Allthough id never swith to m-audio but i just wish i can get my card to open multi a programs.

You are welcome.
You have to assign dedicated outputs to all of your programs, e.g. to Cubase 1+2, to Media Player 3+4, to soundforge 5+6 and so on. Got it?

cheers !!  thankyou , but its still frustrating that way , why cant rme cards play on the same output ?

You could try the multi-client driver from Steinberg available here. But I don't know how well supported it is or how well it works.

PC1 = HDSPe PCIe: DF-ADI-8 DS / HDSPe PCIe: MF2
MBP = HDSPe Expresscard: MF1
