Topic: rme 400 imac

hi all i am looking for a new computer and audio interface i dont have long to get 1 as i need to be recording again within the next 7 days

i have been thinking about getting the new imac with a rme 400 interface
but i am not sure if this is a good idea as some ppl seam to be having probs with the firewire 800 ports
i would like to know if there are any users here that are not having prob and if
the imac and the rme 400 would be make a good audio recording system

Hi link89,

iMac 27" i5 with TI chipset, 10.6.3, Fireface 400 with newest driver, Logic Express 9.1 working fine here.
