Topic: RME and "tunatic" track id software... Incompatible ?

Hi,

I often use tunatic, a software that can id the names unknown cd track or mp3 played. To work, this programm need to "hear" what i play. It works the same way than a software recorder (like super mp3 recorder pro wich can record the music i play from winamp).

Is it possible with an rme soundcard ?

Thanks a lot.

Have you tried it out? If so, what exactly was the problem? And which card are you using?

Re: RME and "tunatic" track id software... Incompatible ?

Hello,

Sorry for the long delay, i was abroad.

Yes i still face many difficulties concerning the routing with TotalMix. I am using the RME 96/32. My main problem is to let another software (like accoustica mixcraft or soundforge) "hear" or "record" what i play in real time with winamp or cubase (very usefull when i can't export because of a bug).

Here is a picture of TotalMIx. Everything i play appears in OUT1/OUT2 and AN1/AN2. I linked these channels (now in yellow) and adjusted the volume, but my softwares cannot hear anything.

With tuntatic, there is an option "imput device". I selected RME AN1+2. It doesn't work. There is maybe something i have to set up in another way...

Can you please help me ?

See manual, section on "Recording a subgroup" (Loopback).
