Topic: HDSP and Fireface Driver

Hi
     I own a HDSP 9632 and recently bought a RME Fireface 800
I wonder if I install both drivers (FF 800and HDSP 9632)on my computer .is there going to be a conflict between these two drivers and units?

I am not going to use both units at the same time, installing the FF800 ?driver is only for preparing the FF800 for stand alone AD-DA operation

Thank you

No. You can switch between both drivers (units) in your audio application to use one of them. Using them at the same time is possible with Mac OSX (build an aggregate device) and a sync connection, where one is the clock master and the other the clock slave.

One driver - HDSP(e) or Firefaces - supports several interfaces of the same type (e.g. 2 x Fireface 800/400).
