Topic: 32x32 AES matrix?

With the AES32 card, we get a 16x16 matrix system which is not enough for my current setup, whereas with MADI we have a full 64x64 capability. However, most of my external digital devices (AD/DA/Reverb units) are AES, which requires an expensive MADI<->AES converter if I want to go for MADI. What about an intermediate step which would be a beefed-up version of AES32 (AES64?) which would allow for a direct connection of all my digital gear without the use of a additional box? Is this something that could be envisaged in the future?

Thomas

Sorry no, and we don't think  that the AES-6432 is 'expensive' ;-)

Re: 32x32 AES matrix?

Thanks for the quick reply! :-)

Just for substanciating my request:

Setup 1: MADI Card + ADI-6432 is around 3800? street price
Setup 2: 2x AES32 cards is around 1450? street price

I know, setup 1 has twice I/Os plus the full matricing capabilities, but I still believe there a place for an intermediate setup. IMHO of course...
Well it is gonna be setup 2 for me then!

Thanks again,
Thomas
