Topic: HDSPE Expresscard pops and noise 10.6.4 / 2.72

I just upgraded to 10.6.4 and driver 2.72, and now whenever i have the expresscard and multiface plugged in to my MacBook Pro (15.4" Pre-Unibody 2.53ghz), the inputs show a lot of digital noise (as if the clocking was off, but the multiface is the only device connected and set to master)
I uninstalled the 2.72 driver by deleting the necessary files, then reverted back to driver 2.71, but the problem persists and I am unable to use the card now. Is it a problem with 10.6.4?

The expresscard / multiface works great in my mac pro (10.6.3 / 2.71), so it must be a software related issue. Please Help!

Thanks,
Danny

here's what it looks like (no programs are open, and nothing but the firewire and power cable are connected to the multiface):

i just swapped firewire cables, and all seems ok now... I'll keep you posted

Re: HDSPE Expresscard pops and noise 10.6.4 / 2.72

...isn't the 2.72 driver just for the fireface???...

Re: HDSPE Expresscard pops and noise 10.6.4 / 2.72

Nope, it was also released for the HDSPe:

They didn't post it on the website though.. strange.

Just a coincidence, really - the version numbers happen to be the same at the moment.
Gets me confused, too... fryingpan cool
