Hi there!

Last friday some completely dumb idiot broke into my flat and stole my Vostro 1700 laptop. I am really mad because the computer was a great tool and extremely reliable. Now I need a new one.
Due to the very good experiences with my last Dell I took a look at their website and found the relatively new Vostro 3700 which looks promising. But I read about some problems with the latest Dells and I wanted to ask if someone here already tested the 3700 series?
On the hardware side its only disadvantage is the missing second harddrive bay.
Any coments are very much appreciated!!!

PS. I forgot to mention that my audio card is a HDSP Express card which will not be upgraded anytime soon. It is a great card!

EDIT: I found the HP Pavilion DV6-2130eg which also looks very promising. Although it only has 15,6" it also has a dedicated num block, FW and e-sata, same CPU. Anyone tried those already? Thanks!!!
