Do I get any advantage or disadvantage in what I write in my header ?. I mean, you can buy an old Multiface very cheap and if that is added to the Octamic 2  then is it not a better bye than the fireface 800 ?. There are 8 preamps, and xlr inputs and the multiface brungs the midi + its 8 analog in and outs ?

I already have the Octamic 2 + Multiface setup but my brother wanted to buy the fireface 800, but I said to him it is much better the way I have set it up and he gets more "line ins" adn can use it with his laptop instead of the fireface 800
