I'm completely new to this, I'm more musician than technician
so be patient..
I got an RME Hammerfall Dsp Multiface+HDSPe ExpressCard
out to a MacBook Pro+LogicPro 8

Just want to know
1-Cabling right / conected as follows:

alesis qs8 midi in/out , to/from multiface
alesis qs8 main out L/R to multiface analog inputs 1/2
multiface analog outputs 1/2 to monitors (M1Active)
multiface to/from Mac via expresscard (firewire)

2-Configuring right
have not idea what the setting dialog
and the totalmix windows are all about

could you please give some basic advise to put all these to work?
