Topic: FF800 with TCoption, recording multichannel dialogs for commercial

Hi,

I was called to do a recording for a TV commercial.
Video is ARRI 535, and i busted my NAgraVi, so am looking for a professional adequate setup.

I was thinking of going with FF800 with TC option, And Boom recorder on my mac.
I need the TC option because they insist on having digital Clap on the set.

Anyone with any experience on similar setup?
Need to worry about anything?

I have not used Boom recorder.  I use Sequoia on PC for TC recording to picture.  On paper what you want to do should work fine, if I were you I would set aside a day for testing first though.  I haven't had any TCO problems, just problems getting Sequoia to record to TC and not lose the plot.  Stable now though.
