I have owned my FF800 for some years and it works very well.  However some time ago I noticed a level drop in output 4 (I run my headphone amp from outs 3 &4).  This is also noticeable on output 6.   The level difference is approx 6db.  Outputs 1 & 2 which I run my monitors from are fine.

I have read that this is an issue that others have noticed and found to be corrosion in the jack sockets.  My problem is that I live in New Zealand and there is no distributor or authorised service agent here.  Therefore would it be possible for a local technician to repair this unit and is there any specialised knowledge that they would need?

By the way the metering in Totalmix shows everything to be equal so it doesn't appear to be a software issue.  I have also reset Totalmix to a factory setting to no avail.
