Hi all, I've done a fair amount of research on this subject but am still after some advice...

I'm currently set up with a 003 and PTLE 8.0 on a Mac Pro...I'd like to add 8 additional inputs, which I understand can be accomplished via ADAT ins and outs and clocking the new interface to the 003. I don't really need preamps, as I've got a number of decent outboard options...

I've been looking at a number of different options--RME keeps coming up as a good quality interface with lots of different routing possibilities.

Anyone have any experience with a PCI card/Hammerfall series solution when added to a 003?  Would the Multiface (or Multiface II) meet my needs?
