Topic: Anyone using MC Mix/MC Control?

Hi folks,

I wonder if there is anyone who knows how to control the fireface mixer using MC control?

Euphonix says it is compatible via the Mackie protocol, but it's a little confusing. I thought I followed all the information but I am having no luck

I have an MC Mix and an MC Transport and have been using them with TotalMix to good result.

I have found that, on occasion though, it just stops working and I have to:
a) delete TotalMix from (and disable) Euphonix's Mackie Emulation (in System Preferences)
b) trash TotalMix's preferences
c) reboot
d) re-enable Euphonix's Mackie Emulation, and add TotalMix
e) setup TotalMix for the surfaces again

It's usually good for a few months.

I have noticed however that most of the Mackie Control transport functions, used to control Talkback, Mono, Dim, etc. do not work with the MC Mix, but work fine with the MC Transport.

Hi,

I've been using MC Mix to control TotalMix with a Mac for a long time in many drivers versions with no problems at all.

Just don't forget to properly configure MC Mix control panel(which requires a full restart to work after configured) and ALSO to enable MIDI control and feedback options inside TotalMix(Look for it at TotalMix menus/sub-menus).
