Topic: Multiface 2 issues

Question -1

On my PCIe card is says HDSPe PCI rev 1.2

Is it supposed to be higher than 1.9 ?

Question -2

I have a GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5

In my manual it says - Due to a hardware limitation, the PCIEX1_1 slot can only accommodate a shorter PCI Epress x1 expansion card.
For a longer expansion card, use other expansion slots.

What is the best slot for to use ?

The reason why i'm asking these questions is due to the fact, i have had issues with audio on Cubase and Ableton and everything i've tried.

The problem - Everytime i record my Korg M3 or record a Virtual Instrument to AUDIO i have a problem with pressing Stop/Start.

Everytime i press Stop/Start anywhere on a section of Audio i get a click / pop. I have changed to latency to the highest settings, which does not resolve the issue.

I'm going to post a link below to a Cubase thread, were some guy is having exactly the same problem as me, and he explains it better than i will, also he has an MP3 to let you hear the problem.  The problem you hear is exactly what i hear when i press stop and start ( The clicks are louder on Kicks and bass guitars and lower end instruments )

( Let me just remind you, that this is only on Audio, NOT Midi )

And let me just say that it has nothing to do with bad edits or crossfading!

Thanks for your time.

Re: Multiface 2 issues

1.9 is the latest PCI (!) version. What drivers/firmware are you using?
