Topic: How to downgrade from a 2.77 version firmware to a 2.70 one?

Hi everyone,

I have a Fireface 800 interface that just came back from my local maintenance center. Its firmware version is now 2.77. I read on this website that this version is used with windows drivers. But in my company, we only work with Mac computers and all our other firefaces 800 have a 2.70 firmware version. However, when I connect the one with the 2.77 version, it communicates correctly with the computer. So my questions are:
- is there any difference between both firmware versions?
- is there any risk of conflict when connecting a 2.70 version fireface in parallel with a 2.77 version one?
- is there any solution to go from a 2.77 version to a 2.70 version?

Thanks for your answers.

The firmware is cross-platform, 2.77 will work on a Mac, too.

Since the downgrade is not required in this setup, the advice above may be ignored... cool fryingpan
