Topic: Lenovo T510 and a firewire external card

Hi,
I am considering to buy this laptop.
Has anyone experences or warnings about it ?

It looks like its Fw chipset is not a TI, so I will take an external card in this case.

You should also check what the expresscard chipset is. Often the firewire and expresscard chipset are the same. You may have issues. Or you may be able to use the onboard without problems. No personal experience though sorry. (my T60 has a TI chipset but no firewire!)
