I'm using HDSP 9632 in Windows 7 64bit and have my e-drum brain connected to the MIDI ports of the breakout cable. I'd like to connect a MIDI keyboard also but it seems I can't connect via MIDI (as it's already occupied) but have to use USB MIDI.

Will this setup work ok without glitches or latency issues (e-drum brain -> MIDI in on the 9632 + MIDI keyboard -> USB in on the computer)? Or will I need some kind of MIDI merger box and route both to the 9632's MIDI input? I'm using Reaper software but I don't know if it can handle MIDI coming from two different routes simultaneously.
