Topic: Serious problem with Fireface UC and Cubase 5

hi all,

i acutally wanted to start a few recordings in cubase 5 using both mic preamps (with 48v phantom) of the uc.

sadly only the left channel works. i tried different setups in cubase and with the uc. none of them makes it work.
its definetly no cable- or mic-problem, though i can here both mics on my headphone.

does anybody has an idea, why it doesnt work?

i am running mac os 10.5, cubase 5.0 and another mac with 10.6 and cubase 5.5

neither the 1.4 rme-drivers, nor the 1.48 driver works in this setups

Are both signals displayed in TotalMix input?

Can you see them in DIGICheck? If so then you can record them, as DC uses Core Audio.

yes, both signals are displayed in totalmix, but in not in the cubase input settings. i also tried to record two seperat mono-tracks, but the input for mic 2 doesnt reach the daw :-)

digicheck? not familiar with this one.
