Topic: New IMacs - firewire interfaces?

I just bought a brand new IMac core-i7 and I'm looking for an audio interface for it. I have read something about IMac's firewire issues. Have they fixed this problem? I'd like to buy fireface 800. Any experiences?

New iMacs have improved FW chips without known issues...
