Topic: Digi 002 + Multiface

Hi all,
i  recently buyed a multiface (mk i) with a pcmcia card.
I attached it to an old notebook with windows XP and successfully installed its drivers.

I am trying to link multiface (Master) with my digi 002r (Slave) running on a Macbook Pro (w Leopard) and Pro Tools 8.0 via adat (44.1 KHz ) to take the excellent A/D conversion of the RME.
If i set clock of Digi 002 to optical the error was "The external clock change is invalid, reverting to internal". In the RME panel, SyncCheck gives "adat in: Sync" (fixed green led in the multiface) and  from time to time change to ""adat in: Lock" (flashing green led).
If i link only adat out (Multiface) to adat in (Digi 002), adat lock led do not light up.
I tryed to change cables with no results.

Linking the soundcard via s/pdif gives me no error (in both situations: Master-Slave and Slave-Master) and i can record s/pdif signal!

Could anyone describe me the step by step procedure?

Thanks ALL! (and sorry for my english)

ps: In the pc with multiface i do not have installed an audio software (like cubase)..how do i set asio drivers? .. Maybe is this the problem?

Re: Digi 002 + Multiface

I solved it!
Just installing an audio software to set asio drivers!
