Topic: RME Fireface 400: Headphone volume

Hello,

I have the Fireface 400, and I am very happy with it.

I have a question:

Before I had a 800, and I liked it's headphone amplifier a lot, because it sounded good and you could blow up the headphones if you wanted to.
I know that the 400's headphone output is different, but it sounds too soft to me. Even when I have it at it's maximum level (+6)

I want to have it much louder.
Is there a way that I can turn it up much more?

Make sure you have the output set the Phones outputs to HiGain in FF settings. Other than this, there is no further gain available.
