Topic: Digiface and a new PC

Hello,

I have a Digiface in a 10 year old PC. I think it is time to upgrade my computer and I have some main concerns:

- First I have to find a PC with the old PCI port...
- Should I keep using Windows XP or move to Windows 7? Are the drives for the Digiface going to work the same in both platforms?
- 32 vs 64 bits... is this a problem?

Thank you very much,

Kind Regards,
Fran

Hello,

finding a mainboard with PCI is not impossible...
Apart from that, you can also replace the PCI card with the suitable PCIe card from RME.
Drivers for the card support Win 7, 32 and 64 bit.

Re: Digiface and a new PC

Hi,

Awesome!

Thanks for the quick response... I love my Digiface and I did not want to change it for anything else... I have it hooked to my Yamaha 01V and it does all I need to record my keyboards into the PC. No a single problem with the Digiface since I bought it when it came out and that's some years already!

Kind regards,
Fran
