Topic: HDSP9652: Bug with Pro Tools 9?

Hi,
I'm using a HDSP9652 inside a Windows 7 64Bit PC for about 1 1/2 years. Now I installed Pro Tools 9 and there seems to be a problem with the external word clock setting and Pro Tools 9:
When trying to open a session (48khz) I get the message: "COULD NOT COMPLETE THE OPEN SESSION... COMMAND BECAUSE PRO TOOLS COULD NOT SET SAMPLE RATE TO SPECIFIED VALUE.."
After switching to internal wordclock the problem seems to be gone.
But I might get problems using internal word clock as all of my digital devices are synced by a master clock (48kHz).

Just want to mention that I'm a long time RME user, also use a Fireface 800 on a MacPro: RME Interfaces and drivers are the best around:-)

best regards

You can switch back to word after ProTools loaded the project.

It works, thank you. The only strange thing happening with the DSP setting window is that after a while the buttons where you can change settings are gone, they are no more visible. Sometimes that means I have to reboot to be able to switch from internal to external WC again.

Can you provide a screenshot of that error in the dialog?

Re: HDSP9652: Bug with Pro Tools 9?

Here's a screenshot of a partial loss of buttons:

I found out that it only looks like that when controlling the PC via RemoteDesktop from the Mac. If I log in the PC directly everything looks fine, if reconnecting via RDV it looks mad again, so reconnecting doesn't help, I have to reboot.
