Topic: Why is My FireFace 800 listed as Fireface 800 (783) in the FF settings

I'm running Mac OS driver 2.75
Unit # DCxxx783
v2.47
Kernal Driver v2.75

I assume this is a reference for the unit , in case i'm running more than 1, which I am not.

Also the FireFace Mixer window is cutting off part of the user interface.

I just loaded this driver on My Intel iMac but also need to run this ff800 with a g5.

I'm confused by the "firmware" upgrades needed and the numbering system for drivers and firmware are also tough to follow.

Do I appear to have the correct firmware to run this with a G5 and my iMac?
How does one flash the unit if needed?

thanks

Is this a used unit that you bought? Is the serial number in the about tab of the Settings dialog exactly 'DCxxx783'? That (xxx) would mean the serial number is corrupted and the unit will not work correctly.
