Topic: UFX vs. RME's own lineup

Hello,

UFX seems like an awesome piece of gear and I'm probably going to buy it. Whilst browsing for other RME offerings a noticed a strange trend that left me wondering about the pricing of other RME products:

If I were to build up a similar feature set that UFX offers with other RME gear, such as ADI-2 converters, Quadmic preamps and a PCIe HDSPe AES cards I would end up paying much, much more than just for the UFX. For example:

A HDSPe AES card and just two ADI-2 converters (for 4 channels of AD/DA) cost the same as one UFX, which has 4 micstasy preamps, many more channels of AD/DA conversion, MIDI I/O, monitor controller, digital I/O etc. ...

So: Why is the UFX so cheap / Why are ADI converters and PCIe cards so much more expensive?
