Hello,

I use itunes as a media player from which I sample with Maschine.

What I wanna do is get the audio flux from itunes into Maschine.

Before I reinstalled my Windows 7, it was working great, now it doesn't.

When I start Maschine, itunes stops sending audio, meters in totalmix stop moving.

What I did is tell Windows that the default audio out is AN 7/8 and Maschine uses 1/2 then use a cable loop from out 7/8 to in 7/8.

Anyway, if no sound comes from itunes as soon as I start Maschine, it's useless.

And of course, I've read the manual and the Interleaved mode of the WDM is not enabled.

Isn´t Machine an ASIO application, that needs to free the iTunes playback device for multi client usage?

Yes, Maschine is an ASIO application but there is no option to release the playback like in Cubase for example.

What is strange is that it worked before, I must be forgetting something but what...

Also, I was wondering, I should be able to do it without a cable loop, right?

Ok... Now it works... Go figure WTF was going on...

But my no cable loop question is still valid, I've read the manual about this but find no answer.
